September 18th, 2005

"Last Sunday when you asked people to come forward to receive prayer for healing I came forward to be healed. I haven't received the healing I was seeking but something else happened that has changed my life. For several years now I have been experiencing horribly frightening dreams. They are so bad they bother me through out the day and cause my day to be miserable. Since I received prayer last Sunday I have not had any of these frightening dreams - not one. Praise God! Pastor Dale - "I spoke at a men's retreat on Friday night. I told them about our ministry trip to Brazil and how God is using regular people to bring physical, emotional and spiritual healing to thousands and thousands of people there. I told them stories of healings and words of knowledge and prophecies from the trip until one o'clock in the morning. The next morning, after breakfast, as I was walking down the dusty driveway a young man asked me if I would pray for him. "For several weeks", he said, "God has been impressing on my heart to seek out someone to pray over me". He was not sure what he was supposed to ask for. I told this young man, "I think the Lord wants you to receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit. Have you been Baptized in the Spirit yet?" He said, "No, but I would like to be." Right there in the middle of that dusty ranch road, I placed my hand on his head. Even before I did that I sensed the presence of the Spirit of God upon me. When I touched him and began to pray for the Spirit's infilling, he began to get "weak" and "tingly" all over. Trying hard to stand, he finally succumbed to the loving pressure of the Holy Spirit and fell to his knees completely overwhelmed as the Spirit of God filled him with joy and a lightness he had never felt before. He was giddy with happiness and after several minutes he ran back to the house and shared with everyone what God had done for him."

About a month after I received Prayer Ministry I realized I hadn't been taking my anti-depression medication or my allergy medication. This has been the best summer I have had in years. Thank you Jesus! (A woman at CSCC, paraphrased)
