Cool Springs Christian Church believes in impacting our world both locally and globally.  Below is a list of missions that we as a church support.  When possible, links have been provided for you to get more information on that particular organization.

veflogoVirginia Evangelizing Fellowship is an organization that plants churches throughout the state of Virginia.  They also provide a host of other services like  disaster relief, providing loans for qualifying congregations, doing guest evaluations and providing opportunities and resources for ministers to better serve their churches and communities.

 

MACUlogoMid-Atlantic Christian University is a Restoration Movement religious college in Elizabeth City, NC.  Founded in 1948 as Roanoke Bible College, MACU has long been dedicated to the task of training men and women for service in the Kingdom of God.  MACU offers multiple fields of study including elementary education, preaching, missions, counseling and business.

 

cicm-logoCentral India Christian Mission was founded by Ajai and Indu Lall in 1982 with a calling to obey Jesus’ Great Commission by establishing a mission center in their home country. What started with these two faithful servants has grown into a multifaceted mission helping thousands of people each year through evangelistic and benevolent ministries.  CICM provides for more than 600 orphans and helps support over 4,500 children.  They also provide a significant medical ministry to those in need.

 

ideslogoInternational Disaster and Emergency Services is a disaster relief organization that operates in dozens of countries around the world.  Whether it is rebuilding homes in Haiti, digging wells in Kenya or handing out medical supplies in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, IDES uses 100% of its donations for disaster relief.

Pittsylvania Christian Service Camp, or “Camp Pitt,” is a Christian campground located outside of Chatham, VA.  Every summer Camp Pitt hosts hundreds of student-age campers, imparting to them life and Bible lessons.  Camp Pitt also provides retreats for adults and allows churches to use their facilities for their own retreats and events.

Lunenburg County Ministries helps our local community by providing services to those in need.  Sponsored by LUMINA (Lunenburg Ministerial Association), LCM helps provide food, clothing and utilities assistance to those who qualify.  They can be contacted at (434) 676-6515.

In addition to the above missions, Cool Springs has also sponsored individual missionaries, short-term missions trips and have also helped to meet local needs when the opportunities arise.  We give over 10% of total offerings to missions and mission efforts.
